A Landmark on Fredericksburg Road

The Woodlawn has anchored San Antonio’s Deco District since the 1940s, when its neon marquee first lit up Fredericksburg Road. Today the same Art Deco facade houses a block of independent businesses — a theatre and comedy house, live music venues, a board-game tavern, a coffee-and-cocktail bar, a vintage boutique, a record shop and an escape room.

Come for a show, stay for the block.

What’s On

Live music, comedy nights, drag shows, markets and private events — something is happening on the block most nights of the week.
